Big Blue is situated equal distance between the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels at the very north end of Jersey City, near Washington Park.
From NYC via The Holland Tunnel:
When you exit the Tunnel you will be on Route 139. Take this to the T intersection of John F Kennedy Blvd. Turn RIGHT on JFK (there will be a gas station on your right). Continue up JFK to the intersection of Secaucus Road (Also known as 5th Street). Turn RIGHT into Secaucus Road and go the end of the street where there is a T intersection. Turn RIGHT. (There is a strip mall containing McDonalds & Rite Aid on your Right). You are now on Paterson Plank Road. Continue down this street crossing over Central Avenue and Hague Street. Just after the intersection of Hague Street you will see Big Blue Meenie on your right. If you see the Washington Park you have passed us.
From NYC via The Lincoln Tunnel:
When you exit the Tunnel, take the first exit on the RIGHT marked Willow Ave / Hoboken. Continue on this street over the bridge to the intersection of 14th Street & Willow Ave (There will be Hertz Rent a Car on your Right and a Gas Station on your left.) Turn RIGHT onto the 14th Street Viaduct and take to the T intersection at the top. Turn left to Jersey City and at the next light turn RIGHT. You are now on Paterson Plank Road. Continue up the hill. You will have a park on either side of you. Go to the end of the park and continue over the intersection and park your car. Big Blue Meenie is on your left. If you see a strip mall on your left you have gone too far.
From South & North Jersey on the NJ Turnpike:
Take Exit 16E for the Lincoln Tunnel (Rt495). Continue and then take the exit for Route 1 & 9 South. Stay on 1 & 9 Sth and take the Secaucus Road (also known as 5th Street) Exit ramp. Take a LEFT at the top of the ramp and continue straight until it ends at a T intersection. Turn RIGHT at this intersection. You are now on Paterson Plank Road. Continue on over Central Ave and Hague St and then park your car. If you see Washington Park you have gone too far.
From Route 17, Garden State Parkway North & South:
Go to Route 3 East towards New York City, continue through Secaucus. then take the exit for Route 1 & 9 South. Stay on 1&9 Sth and take the Secaucus Road (also known as 5th Street) Exit ramp. Take a LEFT at the top of the ramp and continue straight until it ends at a T intersection. Turn RIGHT at this intersection. You are now on Paterson Plank Road. Continue on over Central Ave and Hague St and then park your car. If you see Washington Park you have gone too far.
Flying?
The closest airport to Big Blue is Newark Liberty International Airport. If your Airline only flies into JFK or La Guardia you will need to organise ground transport to the Jersey City area.
