Big Blue is only about 3 miles west of New York City on top the palisades overlooking the Hudson River. In NYC you will find a plethora of Restaurants, Night Clubs, Bars, Shopping and of course Broadway Shows. If you love sports then you can catch a game of Ice Hockey (NY Rangers) or Basketball (NY Knicks) at Madison Square Garden or even some live music.

There are several ways to get into New York from Big Blue.

*ADA Taxi can take you to the Hoboken PATH Station. $2.25 will get you a ticket. (See PATH Train Map on our Directions page under Contact Us)

* Take a Cab to the Ferry Wharf at Lincoln Harbour or Hoboken which will take you to the Jacob Javitts Centre Wharf near mid-town.

* Drive via the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels.

Just in case you didn’t know, the Statue of Liberty is actually in New Jersey, not New York state. When the French gave the statue to New York, they had no where to put it, so gave it to New Jersey to look after. Liberty State Park is only a few miles from Big Blue off exit 14B on the New Jersey Turnpike. There is a Ferry service from the park which will take you to the Statue and also to Ellis Island.

The brand new Giants Stadium is only a short trip down Route 3 behind Big Blue. Similarly the brand new Prudential Center (NJ Devils Hockey Home) is just 1 stop from Secaucus Train Station, on theNorth East Corridor Line, away in Newark. (See the train map on our Directions page under Contact Us)

Secaucus on Route 3 is Outlet Shopping heaven or further on down Route 17 are some of the largest shopping malls on the east coast.

Situated on the banks of the Hudson River at the base of the palisades is the town of Hoboken. The birthplace of Frank Sinatra, (he never made it back), has some great specialty shops, hip little bars, great clubs and sensational restaurants. They also have amazing ice cream stores.
